I had a great experience - goods ordered are delicious and the delivery was a bit tricky as I was away but excellent help from the Dutch Expat Shop without even asking for it

Once a year, we travel to French St. Martin, and while there rent an apartment or villa. Always look forward to shopping in the local French food market! In addition to morning chocolate croissants from the nearby bakery, I've always purchased Nestle Fitness cereal au chocolat, and often wish I could purchase and enjoy it at home in the US. Thanks to you, I now have it!

I ordered 3 tins of hipp formula stage 1 (0-6 months) but have instead received 3 tins of the junior/toddler formula which I do not need. I’ve emailed the company through their website and separately through my email and they have not responded to either. I need the stage one formula for my baby. Please let me know when I can expect to receive it. Thank you.

After 4 failed orders to my home address due to damage incurred during transit I made one final attempt to have some Beers delivered to a different address in the hope this may avoid the Leyland depot in the UK. Granted Dutch Expat Shop were very quick to issue a refund however... The following order of value €41.66 with a Shipping cost to the UK of €21.50, which as you would expect covers UK boarder costs... so a total of €66.91 is now sat with Royal Mail in Preston UK. I have been told that this will only be released if I pay a customs charge of £86.95!!!! What is going on? I'll have to pay this to claim back or return and lose €66.91. The amount of £86.95 does not line up with Handling Fees by Royal Mail or Boarder Tax of this amount for the UK? I have asked Dutch Expat Shop to explain why this is not already incorporated into the original cost and if they have shipped incorrectly? No response and still no beers from an order originally placed over 3 months ago! Very disappointed.

I love all the products and the variety I order from them every year… The only thing was this year. I ordered the gewoon brand of saucijzen broods although the texture and the meat were good. It was much more salty then we all remembered it makes it a little difficult to eat quite salty… Sad now because that’s the only brand I saw and I have several packs beyond that. I’m always happy with all the products it’s instant nostalgia for me and I love ordering XA packs really well and I always get it in a timely manner thank you and merry Christmas

It is not acceptable that this shop displays items that ultimately are not available for delivery. Example: If I order 10 pairs of shoes plus 3 chocolate bars, €70 in delivery costs are somewhat acceptable. But if it is suddenly announced that the 10 pairs of shoes are not available, then €85 (€5 per chocolate bar plus €70 shipping) is simply brazen.

10 jaar geleden was het assortiment veel groter dan nu. Er was ook nooit een probleem met producten die buiten datum waren maar dat is ook niet meer zo. En dan die laatste bestelling...we verzenden uw producten binnen 3 tot 5 dagen??? Na 10 dagen was er nog steeds niets verzonden en moest ik emails gaan schrijven. En die emails zouden binnen 24 uur worden beantwoordt...en dat gebeurde deze keer ook niet! Dus ging ik een kijkje nemen op Facebook waar ik eindelijk een reactie kreeg na 2 weken van emails schrijven. Maar dan moest alles nog worden verstuurd! Ik weet niet of ik de volgende keer via Dutch Expat shop bestel..

After several years of debating we finally gave in and ordered from Dutch ExPatshop. This was an order we absolutely needed for us to celebrate Saint Nicolas day. Normally we get a care package from the home country but that was not possible this year. The offering were pretty good for items related to this holiday. The website is a bit glitchy and it is good to check the quantities in your basket after making changes as they tend to reset to default (1). The weight/cost calculator was not very accurate and at times removing one small item (250g) would make a 1kg difference. The packaging is why we are not giving 4 stars; a lot of the cookies and chocolates arrived broken (some very crumbled). Overall a good experience and will use again and hoping for better packaging.

We ordered several items and were impressed how fast we received our goods. The owner kept us informed on the process and estimated time of arrival. Highly recommend them!

I got everything I ordered, packaged very well and shipping was fast. There used to be cheaper shipping prices, especially for bulk orders and they are no longer available. I miss that otherwise I would have given a full 5 stars

Tot mijn grote verbazing hebben bijna alle ontvangen producten een zeer korte houdbaarheidsdatum. Sommige artikelen vervallen al binnen minder dan één week of maand, en één product bleek zelfs reeds vervallen op het moment van ontvangst. Dit vind ik onaanvaardbaar. Ik heb dit vervolgens gemaild. Maar geen reactie gekregen. Spijtig genoeg was dit mijn laatste bestelling. Het risico is te groot dat ik weer producten ga moeten weggegeven omwille van een te korte houdbaarheidsdatum.

Send me 2 fridge items with expired dates, totally unacceptable as it only takes a couple of seconds to check expiry dates and considering I paid the 18 pounds for dry ice plus 38 pounds for delivery it just wasn’t worth it to me. I send them a message but they haven’t bothered responding yet. Poor service.

Did not send me everything on the order and would not send me the other part witch made the items that I did get not useable. And getting my money back after I saw that part of my order was not hear took two weeks….
