Incredibly heartbreaking
I ordered flowers on Mother's Day knowing they were going to be delivered a day later which already made me quite sad. Unfortunately, last minute life circumstances caused that I couldn't be with my mother that day so I ordered them from Amsterdam on this website that I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The next morning I get a call from a very bitter, distasteful and very rude Dutch man (a walking stereotype, it seems), who scolds me for putting in the wrong address. To my surprise I asked him if perhaps the Amsterdam bit was not the factuur address, explaining to him that I myself live in Amsterdam and that the flowers were a gift for my dear mother in DenHaag. Double checking with him, it seemed like everything was correct (street, house number and postcode) EXCEPT the city which I told him was a genuine mistake. I foolishly believed or assumed he was going going be understanding, and amend the address for delivery. Next thing I know, he is threatening to cancel the order. I was in shock and clearly trying to defend myself, confused as to this lack of customer service and appalled at what was perspiring. The call ended abruptly and I made sure let him know I'd leave a review as he continued to brag that he was cancelling the order and returning my money. He then said he'd show up to my home if I did?!?!?!? After a couple minutes of shock, I called him back to ask when my money would be returned and then the conversation in the form of a blame game ,where I saw myself defending myself that it was a mistake and he accused me of accusing him of getting it wrong.... mistakes happen but for it to take such a turn has left me profoundly flabbergasted. What goes around comes around sir! I made an even bigger order at Fleurop.nl where their selection
of flowers is far more enticing. I cannot wait for my mom to receive her beautiful flowers like I had initially planned, as a daughter trying to make her mom happy. Don't be so rude, heartless and impatient with customers.
