A little disappointing in terms of build quality and communication.
We recently ordered a reconditioned Auronde. When the bed was delivered there were a number of small faults with it. The bed included components that had come from more than one original Auronde and, while that is normal for a reconditioned product, we were sent two of the same sides rather than one left side and one right side. As there were no build instructions included it took me a little while to work out what had happened. The screws included for assembly did not match those on an original Auronde and, because of this, some of them don't fit as well as they could. One of the threads on the brass fitting nuts was also damaged and it took some time to work out a way to assemble it correctly. The pads to sit on top of the centre bar were not supplied. There were also some small chips on the paintwork which was generally not of the same quality as you might expect from a new product. None of the problems above prevented the bed from being assembled or slept on and faced with the choice of keeping it or waiting for a couple of weeks while we tried to get these issues addressed we decided to keep it.
It is a good bed and we're happy with it. We paid €3000 less than we would pay for a new bed and that is a good deal but the experience of assembling it was more stressful than I would have hoped as I worked through the issues described above.
I also have to mention the poor communication from the company after the sale. I sent a couple of emails detailing these issues but received no response. I also spoke with an agent online who said he would look at the emails and respond but I've heard nothing.
I would still recommend the company but would suggest that you manage your expectations and, if you are not comfortable problem solving pay them to assemble the bed for you.
