Tested, working
I had to replace my Gigaset system as they stopped with the service. I was looking for something that is fully a local system with door/window opening sensor, motion sensor, smart plug and with extra siren. No more cloud service :)
The equipment is simple, it is really easy to install, the QR code identification of the new elements works really fast. (apart from the drilling part; for the motion sensors I prefer holes instead of the two sided duck tape). As I bought a package, the elements inside the box were already paired with the system, I just had to rename them in the app. Really plug and play style.
The app is easy to navigate.
I do not have experience concerning how long will the batteries last; I cannot share this at this moment.
I have just one negative comment; when I had to verify my phone number, I did not get the SMS message. I tried more times when I discovered I had to give my phone number in the local Dutch way; giving the country code and giving my phone number starting with 0 :) Because I had to do this process like four times, it would be good to have a search field when we are selecting the country for the phone number.
