Regarding the pick up information, this comes down to a change we made a while back. We decided to only send the booking confirmation email. The reason for this is that we wanted to minimize the amount of emails which customers received, since we found that this sometimes created some annoyance. However, we are still finetuning this process and we appreciate your feedback! We know the information distribution is not ideal as it is right now and we are looking at improvements in this regard.
Lastly, regarding the pick up itself: we would absolutely love to be able to have our drivers wait for customers at the arrival lobby! However, this is as of yet impossible to put into practice for us. As you might know, the rules regarding the pick up possibilities for taxi's differ between airports. At Schiphol, there are quite some demands (and fees) which a driver must agree to before they are even allowed to park their taxi near the airport. We work together with a lot of taxi drivers, almost all of which don't have this specific needed license at Schiphol; straight up because it is too expensive. The most appreciated thing by customers regarding our airport taxi's, is the decent service for a very modest fee. The price of the service would increase greatly if we were to wait for the customer at the arrival lobby. I hope this clarifies this situation a little more.
Lastly, the driver will indeed monitor the flight details as long as you fill in your flight number! I am sorry that the driver was then still a little late, this is not the service we wish to deliver. I will add some credit to your account to compensate you for the inconvenience. Using this, you can book a future ride with a discount, I hope we can soon help you again with your transport!
