I cant recommend enough. My family had a very special time.

Last time we came here was 2019 and as a family we throughly enjoyed it then and we enjoyed it again this year! My only grumble about this years holiday was the price of the food in some of the dunirell cafe outlets! It became cheaper as a family to eat out in cafes/resturants of the beautiful town of Wassenaar instead of eating onsite!

For our start was hectic after breaking down in England so we arrived onsite at 1130 pm we was welcomed by smiling security staff, for us it was a relief that the site was fairly empty which meant we could quickly set up very late at night. We booked with friends so had two pitches next to each other. Was very easy to organise as you can pick your own spot other than just requesting we want to be next to each. We booked lindenveld 90 ( not far from shower,toilet etc block) which was right next to the stream we have older children so no worries about water as there is no fencing of from water. We was also right next to the bridge that went to table tennis tables which was under cover. Which was great for shade when it was hot or a litttle rainy which we had both of. Nice size pitches. Showers,toilet and wash up area always clean and tidy plenty of staff around making sure of this. Wow what to say about the theme park our kids loved it ages from 8-15 short and tall something for everyone, even for a mummy who is not keen on spiny rides these days. There was play parks which was good for all ages some smaller than others. All clean and tidy. We found the eateries well stocked and reasonably priced. Same as the on-site shop. Swimming was fairly easy to book using the codes given. We did a few different time slots all fairly busy the longest line was for the inflatable on all time slots. We only had one issue on the evening slot there was a big group of teenagers which decided to keep going round on the inflatable ride and not passing on the floats. The young guard was a bit overwhelmed by them so I had to step in to take the floaties off them so my children and the people behind could actually get to have a go who was waiting very patiently. Really liked the locker system no money needed you use a screen pad to get a locker using your own rememberable code. We used the outdoor pool the hottest day of the week (not on purpose) it was very busy

We paid for duingalow with a sauna - the duingalow itself was dirty, the floor had not been hoovered, the walls were glass were dirty and there were hundreds of dead flies on the upstairs windowsill. our sauna was not working, when we complained about this we were offered vouchers for the pub. The swimming pool complex was really dated and the changing facilities were disgusting - the floor was muddy and there was hardly any room. The queue for the water slides were lasting over 45 mins. Although the children enjoyed it, I would not return especially at £2k for 3 nights.

Our stay in Duinrell was a pleasant one for the children. The funpark and water slides are quite amazing. We are however disappointed with the comfort Dungalow - small room, uncomfortable beds, cleanliness 4/10 and unfortunately a lingering stench of urine in the bathroom. the biggest disappointment was our dinner at Chicken & Ribs restaurant. My daughter got an ice-cold chicken (literally from the freezer) and the rest of the food was badly warmed up and stale). When we complained, we heard the chef shout at staff in the kitchen and we got the chicken back warmed up but not much of an apology! Very very disappointing!

Very happy with our accommodation & the facilities. A memorable holiday !

Particularly liked the quality and size of the safari tent and being able to use the rides one evening Needing photos for the passes that were never checked was pretty annoying, even more so as the photo booths won’t let you print 4 photos for one purchase. Queue at Tikibad was rather annoying: you need 3 more slides for same number of people

The best hollydays

Stayed in the glamping. Well presented all the things you need. Only complaint was really the onsite restaurants. Chicken ‘n ribs was supper disappointing all around value ‘n service were sub par. Drinks took ages to arrive - technically they didnt arrive. When we finally caught someone’s eye, they looked at us confused. Was a bit of a sh*t show. But I wouldn’t let the above put you off from staying here. All the other staff we interacted with were fantastic, the park was clean - kids had a great time. Most things ran smoothly, although upon arrival we were given faulty passes for accessing the tiki-pool so couldn't book the morning spot we wanted. But on the bright-side, even if we had to wait till 9am the next day to fully sort it. Staff were helpful and underStanding and sometimes things don’t go to plan. Helpful and polite staff at Duinrell make the experience better. Thank you for the great time. We will certainly try and come again

Amazing accommodation in the Duingalows. Water park and theme park were amazing. Exceeded our expectations and can’t wait to come back again soon.

We had an excellent 4 days in Duinrell. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been nicer. The place is spotless and between the amusement park and pools our kids were kept entertained every day. The whole complex is very secure and the local village is a must walk if only to get ice-cream.

Today, while i was about to leave the park, i had to go to the reception because of ticket problem. There was 3 staff members, 2 was occupied with 1 customer i approached the free one. She warned me in a rude way immediately saying that “shed busy with the other staff member together” i said okay and continued to wait in the line. Than another staff member from the back office came and again warned me rudely saying that “i have to wait in the que” again. While i was waiting they were talking rudely about me saying that “do they have to teach me how to wait in a que blabla” it was humiliating considering the people watching us. Than it was finally my turn and i paid for my ticket. Again in a very rude way she told me to wait in the que next time. Than i left but im thinking what kind of hospitality is it. You have to train your staff better.

Visited Duinrell during the school holidays. The reservation process was easy, and we were welcomed by great staff at the reception. Easy check in process and made our way to the park. The Duingelows are sufficient with all the necessities. The kids enjoyed the TikkiBad and the rides where amazing. The park itself also had some great rides for the kids. Food was worth while and the Bar had some good variety of drinks. All in all a great experience and would visit again.

We had a great family holiday camping at duinrell summer 2024. I'll start with the positives: arrival was very smooth with a posted envelope of directions and instructions, and ANPR gates. The pitch was good, with electricity and water on site. The toilet block was heated, showers were good and other amenities (washing up point, laundry) were good quality. We loved the theme park, the big rides were excellent and the queues small. My kids are a bit old for play parks but these looked great and we enjoyed the mini golf. There's plenty of attractions to keep you busy over multiple days. The indoor tiki pool has some brilliant slides. The little shop sticks a very good range of food and drink and isn't much more pricey than the local supermarket. The town of wassenaar is close and has lots of cafes and restaurants. On the negative side, it was irritating to have to pay for the tiki pools - only campers have to do this if you stay in accommodation this is free. The bar was super loud, and was not a nice place to relax in. We had a rainy day so wanted to chill and play cards indoors but the tables were filthy, the staff indifferent and the music ear splittingly loud. The evening entertainment was pretty lackluster, especially when compared the the (much cheaper) French campsite we went to last year which had 3 live bands a week. If you don't like karaoke and bingo you're a bit screwed. The seagulls are a menace and stole food from our camp. This is not helped by other people actively feeding them and attracting them.

We stayed in D426, the bungalow was lovely, clean and although bedrooms small the living area was nice and spacious.. lots of kitchen utensils for cooking.. there was a very unpleasant sewerage smell coming from drain on path outside house which was really bad... everyday when we walked to swimming pool or shop and passing it was really unpleasant.. also for teenagers if the rides were open late it would have been excellent as they got bored by evening with amusement park shut.. the village was gorgeous and everyone was super helpful..

Used to be good value for money, but now it’s all about the money

Brilliant holiday park with great facilities and helpful staff. We will be coming back.

Second time at Duinrell. Children aged 13 and 17 enjoy the theme park and water park. The camp pitches are varying in size and closeness to the amusements. We stayed on a pitch on Hertenkamp which was a great size and far enough away from the amusements to not hear them. The site is cleaned constantly and that includes the toilet areas. Mess does occur but my experience is that a team of staff clean it up very quickly. I have also never been woken up by rowdy campers. We loved cycling around the local area. Leiden is a beautiful town and Scheveningen is a lovely beach front to walk along especially when the market is on. A great camping holiday that is reasonably priced for anyone with children up to the age of 18.

We had a 7 night stay with family and thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been before and will be back again.

Really enjoyed our stay.

Would have liked bedding to have been put on our beds before we arrived. Very difficult and time consuming to do after a long trip. Almost impossible to make up top bunk bed

The pros: - onsite theme park with fun rides and can have dog in theme park to wander around with you which we enjoyed - range of family activities and facilities which were welcome - decent and fairly priced food options - good location near other interesting sites, the beach, Amsterdam The cons: - average overall standard of accommodation - bungalow was not ready upon our arrival after designated check in time - restrictions on visits to the tiki pool (2 visits allowed over 3 night stay, only inside or outside and for strict two hours)

What a fantastic place for the family. Camping was fun and the facilities were excellent

I had a fall from a bicycle hired from Duinrell and suferred an injury. This happened shortly after I hired the bicycle and I found that the handlbars were loose and were not aligned with/moved independently of the front wheel. I returned the bicycle to the hire centre as soon as I was able to do so and spoke to the person in charge. He tightened the loose nut but refused to replace the bicycle or discuss what had happened and why. He fled out the back of the hire centre to avoid talking to me. He was rude, ignorant, demonstrated a lack of any customer service skills and it is clear he routinely treats customers with utter contempt. I complained to Duinrell's customer services by email amd had responses from two people. They both refused to formally record and deal with my complaint, made a number of comments that were blatantly untrue/absurd and refused to communicate with me or provide me with details of how I could escalate my complaint. Duinrell clearly has a culture that needs urgent remedial action by senior management. They need to have a process in place to formally record and deal with complaints rather than ignoring and obstructing customers in the belief they will will just go away.
