I still haven't received my rug. It is held by UPS as they are charging me duty fees - which I have begrudgingly paid yesterday, but the delivery date has yet to be confirmed. I did not realise this could be an issue when ordering the rug. I queried the situation yesterday - see the response below. The Manager was very rude and disrespectful. The fact that the product is of preferential origin does not mean much to me, so it was a surprise to get a duty bill for over £60. And I am painfully aware, thank you, that we have left the EU. I am French and wish it wasn't the case! I would be very grateful if you could help clear this matter and get my rug delivered! It is now 8 days late. Le tapis est tel que sur la photo et les couleurs aussi ... Malheureusement, déroulé il reste ondulé en son centre, comme s'il était détendu à certains endroit ou bien les coutures trop serrées ! J'ai déposé des objets lourds aux endroits stratégiques, mais lorsque je les retire, les ondulations (larges bulles) reviennent ??? J'ai déjà eu précédemment du tapis plain venant de votre maison et il est resté impeccable tout le temps où il a été placé (10 ans) Sur base, peut être accidentelle de celui-ci, je ne peux malheureusement pas vous recommander auprès d'un ami.

I wanted to leave this review to commend exemplary service that I received recently from the Louis de Poortere team online. Having ordered an outlet rug during Black Friday, I was contacted to say that the chosen rug was no longer available. The service I received thereafter from Martin Dryon was completely above and beyond any expectations: not only were we able to select another model with no further cost, we were contacted courteously throughout and kept updated with the options available. Moreover, the email communication was always prompt and proactive, as well as the customer service resolution being of the highest standard. The new rug arrived within days and is absolutely beautiful. Not only will we be returning as customers, we've already recommended Louis de Poortere to friends and family.
