Buying from Australia, it's a great help to have such a clear and accurate web site to view required items. I find Schouten Select to be honest in their descriptions and fair in their pricing - though to be fair, buying any vintage Leica equipment these days can be financially painful wherever you look! I have had only good experiences in my dealings with Schouten Select.

Marco promptly replied to my emails which I appreciate. I purchased a 2003 model-year Leica camera described as Like-New and it actually looks brand new. I inspected the camera thoroughly and see no signs of use. I have watched prices on this particular camera for over a year, including flea-bay and reputable Leica dealers in the USA and Europe. Given the condition of the camera and the price I am very pleased. I would not hesitate buying from Marco again when my need arises.

This was my first purchase of a Hasselblad camera + accessories and I needed quite a bit hand-holding along the way to make the right choices. Mr. Schouten has provided valuable assistance at every turn. I live in the US and Mr Schouten's business is located in the Netherlands. Keeping this in mind, communicating with Mr Schouten was incredibly easy. Mr Schouten returned my daily emails and calls extremely quickly. The package was sent via FedEx and everything was extremely well packaged and protected. The camera system was exactly as described. I think Schouten-Select's prices are on the higher end of the spectrum, but I for once am happy to pay a bit of a premium for such excellent service and a good relationship with a business that I would undoubtedly recommend and use again.
