I continue to get charged even after cancelling, and Exact never gave me the refund they promised!
I setup an account with the Exactonline.nl representative (rep), and received a free month. I never got to use it, so when I was contacted again to see if I would signup, I let the rep know that I failed to use the service. He said that he would give me another month to try the service.
He then went on vacation, so a new rep came on, and after explaining to him the situation, he sent me the new month trial. We couldn't get it to work, so he was instructed by their IT to have me pay for the month and they would reimburse me. I agreed, but after which there was no correspondence, no refund.
After using the product, primarily Dutch, but it was set to English, all of the categories were still in Dutch, and there was no Help available in English (at least not for me for some reason). I canceled the service, which was impossible to figure out on my own, so after a Google search, it took me to the Exact help section to help me cancel, which I did.
There was no confirmation, but I received several warnings to backup because all data was to be removed, so I obviously was on the right track. Long story short, I never received my refund, and I have continued to receive new charges month after month, yet I was unable to access my account to check on my Subscription, nothing.
I have sent emails, I have called and no reply! I am owed almost 90 euros, yet now I have been sent to collections of this. I am furious at such a large company with such pathetic and borderline evil practices. They are threatening to pay or else, and yet they owe me money. They keep charging yet I have no account to access, what?!? Steer Clear or Exact, there are other certified options!
