I ordered two bikes in the end of Feb 2021. It was a pre-order to be shipped by the end of Mar. However, the time had come and nothing happened. I contacted support and was told that there's a delay. Well, if something went wrong it's support who're supposed to contact customers and inform them about any changes. I was contacting them once a week for 1,5 months since then. Responses were always rather ambiguous and obscure – no direct answers to direct questions. At some point communication became really inadequate – like, 'stop writing us, we can't say anything, you just sit and wait for whatever it will take'. In the mid-Apr I received an SMS from FedEx that they have a package for me that is going to be delivered in three days. That was another surprise because I paid for more expensive and much more reliable (from my experience) DHL delivery. The shop shipped my order with FedEx instead of DHL without even asking me. They said, for speed, but, well, it took more than two weeks instead of three days in the end. Not to mention FedEx's useless tracking system and total lack of information about what's going on with delivery. As the icing on the cake, the shop is located in Netherlands, but the order was shipped from the UK and thus, I needed to pay VAT in order to receive my package. However, Simple Bike were fair and refunded this money to me within 10 days or so. Maybe Simple Bike is really good if you just came by their local store, have a small talk with them and buy something from their stock. However, the online shopping experience with them was literally the worst in my entire life. As for goods, the bikes are really good! It was a couple of State Bycicle Co.'s budgetary single speeds, and they're cost their money and more. A couple of minor defects here and there, but you don't expect a 1500 euros quality from 400 euros bikes, do you? And they're really beautiful too!
Dear Nikita, I am sorry to hear that this has been your worse online shopping experience but let me highlight that you have placed a pre-order which means we are dependant of the supplier. Due to fact State Bike has their warehouse in United Kingdom and Brexit started all the process became different and no one knew how to deal with it. In normal situation we would import the goods from the UK and once customs are cleared we would ship it to you and that way we could deliver via DHL (which is btw cheapest shipping option) and all would be good, but in order to save time State Bike shipped the bikes to you directly. Once it arrived in Finland we kindly asked to pay the import and refunded it as soon as possible. In our situation we never calculated import costs in price which mens this is 100% loss for us but still we delivered and we never asked for any additional costs on top of what we have promised and what you have paid despite the situation. It all was been caused because of the delays in supply chain and Brexit. About the defects - you have never reported any of them to us so far and I can't comment on them. Apologies from our side about your very bad experience but business is complex mechanism and we do all in our power to improve. Your experience gives us a lesson to learn.

I ordered, got a phone call of some not very nice guy explaining that item couldnt be delivered. Could give me same of another manufactorer to the same price, fine. But when I checked it was cheeper and when I adressed this he would send me something as compensation, I got a ring bell, really.

Communication was good. Delivery time as expected. My FedEx-experience was annoying, but I won’t blame that on SimpleBikeStore. Please use another delivery service, if you read this: My order showed up on time anyway, but FedEx reminded me of delivery in the 90’ies: “oh you want delivery on wednesday, great, then we will make an attempt tuesday... at What time?? Why, Can’t you just wait at home between 00:01 and 23:59?!”
The order went quick and easy with fast delivery. The only reason I'm not giving full marks is because I made an error in the order myself and my follow-up questions were a little slow to be answered. But once they were, everything went very smoothly. There was minimal assembly of the bicycle, but the manual could have been a little more detailed and some nuts/bolts were nearly impossible to loosen in order to attach the additional bike parts. Without some basic bike knowledge and decent tools this would have been a bit difficult to do, but that one's on the manufacturer, not the shop.
Last spring I bought 14 and 16 inch for my 2 and 4yo boys and they learned to ride very easily. This year I added a 20 inch bike for the bigger boy and another kid from the family took the small bike. Kids love the bikes and they have no problems keeping up with me when we ride together.

I ordered a bosch powerpack 400 battery to be delivered here in Dubai, UAE. They made it happen! Even though pandemic, they were still able to send the stand alone battery from their shop at Rotterdam, Netherlands to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The staff were very easy to negotiate and were able to arrange everything. They really do know the business. I just came across this shop from searching a replacement battery for my Haibike Xduro Fullseven Pro. This was the ONLY shop that I found that offered to ship internationally. I then read some reviews, and I found one customer from the US that ordered a replacement battery and was able to receive the dangerous goods package. Now I also received my package which came in great shape. Kudos to The Simplebike Store team!

Goed geholpen en duidelijk kwaliteit
Our son loves his new blue Bungi Bungi 20 bike with the 3 gear hub and races down all streets. A very nice bike, good quality and light. I can recommend it to everyone. In my view it is comparable with early rider bikes. We were unlucky and had some problems with the delivery but the contact with Bungi Bungi was quick, polite and respectful. Little delivery problems occur everywhere. We are going to buy our second bike here as well!

The only store within EU that had Creme bike available. It was delivered within 6 working days. Unfortunately with the damaged fenders due to courier error. The reclamation went smoothly, the staff was very very helpful and professional. Thank you for sending new fenders.
