Ordering went smoothly in the website. Only problem was that complete delivery address was not sent to dhl. Missing house number and letter. Had to call couple times to dhl to get the package.

Das Fahrrad kam mit Transportschaden an. Bis zur Lösungsfinding inkl. Gutschrift des verausgabten Betrags für das Ersatzmaterial dauerte es 5 Monate und erforderte 23 E-Mails meinerseits. In der Regel kam die Rückantwort erst Tage später nach wiederholter Nachfrage (48h Support konnte ich nicht erkennen). Das Fahrrad war im höheren Preissegment (2800,- Euro) und hatte diverse Transportschäden. Ein Ersatz wurde abgelehnt und auf Reparaturen verwiesen, die ich ich selbst verauslagen muss. Ich hatte in dem Rahmen mit verschiedenen Personen des Supports Kontakt, einige waren sehr nett, pampige Antworten waren jedoch auch dabei. Wenn man Zeit und Nerven hat sicher eine Option, ansonsten würde ich kein Rad mehr online dort kaufen. 1,5 Sterne gibt, dass das Problem zumindest letztlich gelöst wurde.
Dear Melanie, I am very sorry about your experience you had with the delivery company and our support. In case where the bike has arrived with transportation damage which you have reported to us on September 3rd we needed to start the case with the forwarder to claim the amount form them. Also to arrange the replacement parts takes time, but after you have offered to get the part by yourself and replacing them by yourself, you have asked us if we will reimburse the costs and we have confirmed that to you. That all happened in mid September and according to email correspondence by September 24th the bike was rideable so claiming that you haven't been helped for 5 month which haven't been passed by the time of the review is little unfair. Once more apologies from our side about the transportation damage which are unfortunately out of our hands and they sometimes happens we still hope you will give us another chance in the future. I ordered a bike for my son, it had an estimated delivery of 5-7 days with international shopping. 4 days went with no information regarding shipping, tjen i wrote cosrumorservice, with ekstremely slow response time the denied beeing delayed. Finally the bike is delivery 40 km from my adress and 2 days delayed. The transport box is damaged. Four things on the bike is daamaged. Bend derailleur, bend front beake disc, cracked chainguard and a punctured rear tube. Simple bike shops solution was to send me a new tube and chainguard, with I havent recived now aproximately a month after ordering the bike. The disc and derailleur I could fix myself. When i wrote that I wanted a refound or a replacement bike the communication stopped. I would not dare to order from their online shop again.
Dear Mikkel, Thank you for your review. Let me clarify the situation and list the facts so the review given from you reflects the real situation. The order was placed on December 5th, which is Thursday, the order was shipped out on Tuesday, 11th of December because the store is closed on Sundays and Mondays. It was out for delivery but you where not at home on the 16th so the bike was taken into the closes depo. Therefore there are no any delays form our side in this case as mentioned. When you are collecting the order from the depo or receiving it at home it is your responsibility to check if the box is in pristine condition, if the box is damaged you should report it or refuse the shipment. Since the shipment was received without reporting the damage and you sent us the claim we looked into this and offered to ship the replacement inner tube and chain guard shortly, but you have claimed a new bike or 350Eur for the replacing inner tube, adjusting the gears and brake disc. That was not reasonable (so to speak half of the new bike price) so we asked you to bring it to the nearest bike shop for the inspection and offered to pay the service bill in full. Proof of the fact it was not reasonable is that the repair bill from the bike shop was around 100Eur not 350Eur as requested at the beginning. Not to mention the fact you did not want to cooperate with us and refused to do anything in order to get this situation to be solved so at the very late stage we did not see any reason to respond to requests that where not reasonable. We told what are the steps to solve this issue and at the end you finally did what had to be done at the very beginning to avoid this situation. I understand that the situation was not perfect but with cooperation with us you could have solved it much quicker. Simple Bike Store Team

Simple Bike Store responded to my order immediately and sent what I ordered straight away. I also contacted the store in advance to ask a couple of questions. Again, the reaction was immediate. The responses were also informative.
They took way longer to send the order to me then was said on the website. I filled in the contact form and got a semi quick reply first, but it did not give me any information about the status of my order. When calling or asking the chatbot I got no response. These issues might have been incidental, but it is not great service. I will order some parts via this site again to give this shop another chance. Because the selection of parts is good.
Kon helaas niet in de buurt van mijn woonplaats deze fiets kopen. Toen uitgeweken naar Simplebikestore in Rotterdam. Goede service fiets besteld en binnen afgesproken tijd opgehaald. Zelf nog mee geholpen om de Muli Cargo op de fietsendrager te zetten.
Die Versandkosten für eine Retoure, in diesen Fall über 60,00 Euro, darf man selber tragen. Außerdem wird die Retoure an Klarna so spät gemeldet so dass ich nun die erste Rate, über 160,00 Euro, dennoch zahlen darf trotz der Retoure. Die Mitarbeiter bemühen sich nicht gerade besonders und man erhält Fahrräder von der Stange, die man bei jeden anderen Internetfahrrad-Händler erhält. Und eine Stornierung des Kaufs kurz nach der Bestellung ist nicht möglich. Alles sehr enttäuschend und ich kann nur abraten bei Simple Bike etwas zu kaufen!!
Dear Henning, Thank you for your review but I don't fully agree with you. You have ordered the frameset from us which turns out was the wrong size. We can't be responsible for return costs when the purchase is made for something that doesn't fit you, therefore you are entitled to cover the return costs of the particular item. Other than that telling that we don't put enough effort is not true since we have always replied all your email in timely manner and have assisted you along the way. I understand that your experience of purchasing the wrong size came at the costs but we are not the ones to blame and when order is processed and with the logistics partner we can't simply stop it and ask them to ship it back. If that would be possible the logistics companies would have so many missing parcels if they start to travel back and forth and anyone could interact and change it's destination. That simply doe snot work that way. On top of that telling that we sell off the shelf brands that you can get anywhere is also not really true because you got the specific frame set with I am sure best price in Europe that was sold out anywhere else. We are sorry for your experience but if you would give us a 2nd chance I am sure we could satisfy you like many others customers that are choosing us and come back for their other bike needs. Le service client est très réactif, répond très bien aux attentes. Le délai de livraison est réduit, le suivi est ok. Là où j’ai été déçu, c’est de recevoir mon Quella imperial avec pas mal de traces et de marques (non dues au transport), de voir arriver mon vélo dans un emballage Genesis et non Quella, signe que le vélo n’était pas conservé dans son carton. Enfin, il manquait le carton avec la clef, les bande réfléchissantes, etc…

Item ordered was in stock and dispatched soon after ordering. All good communication from the store and the item arrived a day ahead of the intended delivery date. All good, will use this store again.
My order did not arrive in great shape (no fault of supplier) so I had to cancel as parts were fairly urgent. They issued a refund so all good.
