Perfect mid heel cream court shoe

I needed a cream court shoe with a square toe and a mid heel in a size 43 and found these which fitted the bill perfectly. I worried about ordering them from the Netherlands but my worries were unfounded. After trying several other online stores in the UK and not being happy with my purchases I took the plunge and apart from a short period when the shoes arrived in the UK and the tracking number changed over the process was very efficient. I contacted Customer Services as the original tracking number wasn’t working and the speedy response I received put my mind at ease that if for some reason the shoes did not arrive then it would be rectified swiftly. The shoes are almost perfect (slightly wider than I need in one place but hopefully I can fix that with an insole) for my daughter’s wedding. Thank you Stravers for selling a classic cream court shoe in lovely leather in my size. They finish off a wonderful Mother of the Bride outfit. I can’t wait for the wedding.

Regarding VAT....Tsja, unfortunately tax is indeed charged when our shoes go to a country that is not a member of the EU. It depends on country what customs charges for that and south africa is apparently not cheap. Annoying for you and also for us. Unfortunately, we have no influence on that. Hopefully you will like the shoes so much that you will soon forget about VAT. Enjoy your new shoes!

Fairly priced

Shoes are fairly priced and well made. My issue is i didn’t much update on shipping. I order more than a week aho now and i am still not sure if it was shipped. I have yet to wait. Also the website needs to have an account profile so orders can be tracked properly.

Hi Jardine, Thanks for your review and the tips. We have already had some email contact. The reason why the track & trace code was not received by you is currently being sorted out. Normally, this should be the case and you can track the status yourself. We do not see a need to build a customer portal of this in that case, but of course the track & trace code should reach you. Fortunately, the shoes are already on their way and you already know the track & trace code. Enjoy your purchase.

Good quality but A bit too large

I usually wear 37 and with stravers loafer 37 is not staying in my feet.

Hello Michael, Thank you very much for the review. Too bad these shoes fell too big for you. Unfortunately, as with other brands, each manufacturer has its own lasts and some fall smaller in the same size as others. Also, every foot is different, one size 37 may be much roomier in the same shoe than someone else's who has, for example, higher cheeks. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about that.

Gorgeous shoes, first class customer service

I have very small sized feet (EU size 34/35), and there are literally zero options of well made, leather shoes for women with small feet in Sydney, Australia. Believe it or not, I am constantly told to shop in the children's shoe department by sales staff. This is all well and good when needing runners or flip flops. Not so good when I need heels for a wedding outfit. Stravers Luxury Shoes have made my life so much easier. They stock gorgeous leather shoes, which are well made and feel comfortable from first wear. Additionally, the staff are helpful and go out of their way to assist. Thank you Dennis and Maartje. Shoes are good, service is terrible

I have ordered shoes from Stravers twice, 1 still pending delivery. The first shoes were great but there were Communicatons issues RE delivery to the point where the shoes went back to Stravers and then were re-sent. My current order is looking similar, I have had no updates on shipping, despite asking twice. Other on-line shopping sites have links to track the shipping etc, Stravers provide no follow up links at all.

Great Shoes and a great service

Frist time purchaser and was not totally sure to purchase online, normally shop High St but struggled to get size and choice on quality shoes. Should not have worried. Shoes are fantastic quality and fit perfectly. Size 39. Great process from purchase to delivery. Certainly will purchase again.
