Appaling customer service - Waardeloze klantenervaring
I bought a hockey stick and drinking bottle at Hockeypoint. Both artivles arrived in one cardboard box, but the bottle was possibly damaged during transport. The bottom of th bottle was cracked.
I notified Hockeypoint as soon as possible, and in any case within the ten days listed in their Terms & Conditions. Hockeypoint's standpoint is that a warranty case can not be claimed, because the damage was not reported on the day of arrival of the goods.
After repeated writing, Hockeypoint reimbursed out of "lenience" the costs of the bottle. Additionally, Hockeypoint remarked, that they package and ship their goods with care.
The customer service of Hockeypoint has been extremely poor. At first, Hockeypoint rejects all responsibility, giving the impression that I have personally caused the defect. Considering their "leniency" comment, Hockeypoint is of the opinion that the customer should bear the costs when they are at fault.
Whether the article was properly packaged is irrelevant. If this was the case, Hockeypoint has shipped a product that was already defect.
For the time being, I will no longer purchase any goods at Hockeypoint, and I will share this negative experience with my contacts.
