I bought a laptop 6 months ago, and I'm still very satisfied with it. Great support. There was a missing (small) thing in the first package but the support quickly sent it to me afterwards.

I have had quite a few laptops so far, all based on Windows. I took the Windows 11 problem as the final reason to switch to a Linux based laptop. First, I tried to install everything by myself on my "old" HP as a dual boot, but encountered various issues, for instance with the sound. Luckily, I found "Laptop with Linux" on my preferred OS provider's website and was thrilled to see that I could pick exactly all the components as I needed them. And within very few days I received exactly the laptop I had always wished for, but even in a much better version.

ik wilde dit keer een linux draaien op mijn laptop en zag deze zaak, een gekozen en kon veel aanspassen, meteen cam eruit laten halen voor een paar euro en vpn vouchers gekocht, erg anoniem. Kreeg mail dat hij niet op voorraad was; Erg netjes, meestal laten bedrijven je in het ongewisse en de prijs was goed.

2de beoordeling. Na telefonisch contact op te nemen met de klantendienst, zijn de probleempjes die ik initieel had, opgelost. Raad en software werden onmiddelijk aangeleverd. Het toestel werkt nu naar behoren. Zeer capabel bedrijf. Zeker aan te raden voor mensen die uit de windows loop willen stappen.

I have picked and configured the laptop on Thursday, placed the order in the afternoon. It has arrived on Friday morning to Malta. It was literally faster, than any purchase from a local shop. The customer care was responsive, helpful and professional. So far one of the best experiences in buying computer electronics.

Snel geleverd met exact de configuratie zoals ik besteld had. Fijn dat er nog bedrijven zijn die hun zaken en processen goed op orde hebben. Ondanks dat het mijn eerste kennismaking met Linux (Mint) was, was het instelproces bij eerste ingebruikname prima te doen. Voor mensen die nog twijfelen over het inruilen van Windows voor Linux: De overstap van Windows naar Linux Mint ging qua gewenning veel soepeler dan dat ik had verwacht. Je hoeft er geen beroeps-IT’er voor te zijn. Als je een beetje handig bent met computers, dan is de overstap prima te doen.

Ik had een Linux laptop met veel geheugen voor mijn ontwikkelwerk. Helemaal samen gesteld zoals ik wilde. Ubuntu en 64Gb RAM

Net een nieuwe laptop besteld. Deze kon geleverd worden met een satabay, ipv een dvd drive. Ik geef aan dat ik wel een sata bay wil hebben Krijg ik alsnog een toestel met dvd drive. Bij levering blijkt dan nog eens dat de fysieke knoppen, inderaan het touchpad, het niet doen. Onmiddelijk een mail verzinden en de klantendienst gecontacteerd. Ik ben benieuwd voor het verdere verloop. Bij aanbevelen, heb ik voorlopig ja aangegeven, omdat nee voorlopig niet van toepassing is. Toevoeging Review. Ik heb ondertussen telefonisch contact gehad met de klantendienst. Er ontbrak een stukje software, dat dezelfde dag nog in de mailbox zat. Software uitgevoerd en alles werkt. Dit was ook de eerste keer dat ik vernam dat men de ruimte voor de dvd drive, afdekt met een coverplaatje. (niets negatief, maar ik wist het gewoonweg (nog) niet)). Nu werkt de laptop perfect! Nog een extra ssd'tje besteld voor de satabay en klaar! Sterren aangepast naar 4,5. Bedrijf is zeker aan te raden!

The purchasing process was perfect, the delivery was fast, very happy. The actual product itself is very very close to ideal but the one major annoyance so far is the touch pad, how sensitive it is and how easy it is to affect typing. There is an option to disable it during typing in Ubuntu but that option doesn't function correctly (there's actually two different ways to do it and neither one works correctly). So this could be addressed via software or with a slightly different location of the touchpad. My other minor feedback is HDMI port is annoyingly close to the front instead of closer to the back. I can understand why that was done (the hinge, cooling, i get it) but if you have it plugged into a monitor much of the time, you have a cable in your face much of the time. Last minor point of annoyance is the default brightness of the screen is low for some reason (near zero) and I frequently have to increase it as the first step after turning on the laptop. That's about it. The actual functional experience of the product is great, no issues at all. Best, -- Nick

Snelle en volledige reactie op mijn vragen, maatwerk mogelijk, keurige offerte, en alles compleet en netjes binnen. Niets op aan te merken. De service van Laptop met Linux is nog ouderwets prima. En dan heb je een heerlijke mini-pc met Fedora erop, dat ook nog eens ouderwets prima werkt. Geen gevis naar gegevens, geen gedwongen cloud-accounts en razendsnel en efficiënt. Ik raad Linux iedereen aan, en koop het alsjeblieft bij Comexr!

I purchased a laptop from "Laptop with Linux" on Wednesday morning and I was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered to me several thousand kilometers away (California, USA) on Friday afternoon. Wow, that's fast! The laptop is great... Thin and attractive with a high quality chassis, a powerful CPU and with very effective but extremely quiet cooling / fans. And of course Linux runs perfectly on it. The only things I don't like are that the keyboard isn't as good as I normally prefer and that the company doesn't have after sales support for firmware / BIOS updates. All things considered a satisfying purchase and good experience.

I loved the simple configuration and customization process. Even though the estimated delivery date was set to one week from the order placement, it was a nice surprise to receive the laptop two days earlier. Very satisfied! Thank you!

Zowel de bestelling, communicatie , speciale wensen t.a.v. de laptop, zijn na volle tevredenheid uitgevoerd. De levering door DHL was volgens afspraak, mijn ervaring met DHL is niet positief, maar nu geen klachten. Mooi scherm, geen dode beeld punten Het werken met deze laptop is een feestje, ben er blij mee.

Ik wilde niet meer werken met Big Tech uit de States. Dus Linux, Libre Office, etc. Zelf een Surface omgebouwd naar Linux en alles omgezet. Functioneerde wel, maar een hoop geklooi. Toen de met Linux Mint voor geïnstalleerde laptop kwam werkte alles razend snel. En mijn Nas, printer, scanner etc deden het ook. Een aanrader voor iedereen die van Microsoft af wil.
