I really like the mini PC with Linuxmint. It is very fast and all is working out of the box.

Excellent quality laptops pre-installed with your choice of linux distro and a number of useful applications, with many more available from snap or using apt install. My daughter is using Krita with a XP-PEN Star G640 We print to an Epson ET-2850, and Epson do a scan app for Ubuntu which works really well.

Ik heb recentelijk een nieuwe Linux laptop gekocht bij LaptopMetLinux en wederom uiterst tevreden. Enig puntje van kritiek: ik had tussen de twee aankopen een mailtje gestuurd met de vraag om informatie, ik kreeg hier nooit antwoord op.

I started looking for a Linux ready laptop since it´s a great option to ensure having a less hassle fully functional Linux laptop. Laptop with Linux allows many configurations and setups and they will very gladly help you find the right one for you, even if it means a cheaper option (something that not all sellers do...). There is even an engraving and logo option for full customization! Awesome! Don't hesitate, contact them and see for yourself! My laptop arrived even earlier than stated with good packaging and it is quite the piece of equipment. All in all, I am super happy that I encountered Laptop with Linux and placed my order.

This was the first laptop I had bought in 10 years so I was delighted to receive it very quickly and in the exact state I expected it to be in. It was packaged very well, full of protection so there was almost no chance of any damage occurring during the shipping stage. The laptop runs perfectly and everything I requested to be pre-installed was so not a bad word to say! I had a query and called on WhatsApp. My call was answered straight away by Peter who was extremely helpful and polite. Needless to say, I highly recommend this company :)

I ordered the Clevo NS70MU laptop with custom specs. I already had compatible RAM for the laptop. So I selected not to have RAM placed in the laptop. I made a special request to have instructions for RAM installation, so that the chances of breaking something would be minimal. They happily obliged, sending me a service manual for the laptop as PDF through email. The laptop came, and I installed the RAM. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to access the laptop, some laptops, from other companies, are designed to have difficult access. After making sure the laptop powered on, I discovered that they made a mistake on the SSD that I ordered. The SSD was only half the storage I selected. I took photos and screenshots of the issue and contacted the company back. They realized the error and gave me a couple options. I chose to trade in the SSD I have for the one I ordered. When I got the SSD I ordered, I used the live USB stick that comes free with the laptop to install the OS again. After the new OS installation, I realized that the touchpad gestures were not working as they did before. After several hours of futile attempts to configure the behavior, I contacted them back asking if they had any special software, special configurations, or proprietary drivers. They replied with special configurations of the touchpad, and software for the backlit keyboard and battery behavior. Approximately a week after I received the laptop, it is finally in good functioning shape. I am still glad I purchased a laptop with easy physical access, in case I decide to purchase more RAM or more storage. I believe the total package, assuming you get everything you ordered, is a fair price. The experience you get from the laptop, with their configurations, is very nice. And the company also has excellent customer service. So despite a mistake that took a full week to correct (mainly due to shipping times), I am happy with my order. So I believe this is a fair score.

Everything was as agreed and ordered, would buy again

Mijn ervaring, tot dusver, is meer dan goed. Ik had nooit verwacht dat er de door mij gewenste partitie-indeling op zou worden aangebracht, ik dacht dat ik straks een OEM-installatie alsnog naar mijn eigen wensen zou moeten aanpassen. Reden om de installatie van Ubuntu aan u over te laten is dat het een onvoorstelbare luxe is dat ik een nieuwe laptop kan aanschaffen, kant en klaar ingericht met Linux, en dan nog wel Ubuntu. Voor zover mij bekend kun je dit met een Windowscomputer op je buik schrijven, en is daar het gebruik vaan GParted of dergelijke nagenoeg onbekend. Suggestie, en misschien meerdere: Het is een goed idee een korte beschrijving mee te geven, zoals: 1. Hoe de boot-volgorde te wijzigen: met F2, en mogelijk ook direct (moet dit nog uitproberen) met F12? Alvast nodig om gebruik te kunnen maken van de meegeleverde USB-stick. Manual van de Insyde-bios is ook handig om te hebben. 2. Om Ubuntu op de stick te krijgen is 8 GB meer dan genoeg, waarom een heel snelle Kingston van 32 GB? Kunnen er data bij worden geplaatst op de stick, en hoe? Nog niet echt uitgeprobeerd, maar instellingen zoals wifi-wachtwoord worden niet bewaard. 3. Waar zijn de beide meegeleverde plakkertes voor nodig, en het kleine meegeleverde schroefje? Zijn alle schroefjes in de laptop van dit type? 4. Als u nog iets extra's wilt doen, het is alleen een suggestie, kunt een sticker meeleveren van de door u geïnstalleerde Linuxdistributie. In mijn geval du een Ubuntu-sticjer, zonder nadere aanduiding zoals 22,04 en dergelijke, maar wel met het Humanity-symbool (drie mensen die hand in hand een kring vormen. Alle drie verschillend gekleurd. 5. Ik kan uw zwart-wit versie van Tux, de Penguin, niet echt waarderen :) 6. Ik kan het hebben gemist, maar in de voorgestelde toetsenbordindelingen ontbreekt die van de US Int'l met dode toetsen. Het zijn er meer dan 1 suggestie geworden... It's obvious they know exactly what they are doing. Machine as ordered was despatched within a day or two despite requiring hardware options and arrived promptly on time as promised despite importation to UK from the Netherlands (no doubt it helped that they handle UK VAT and import formalities so we don't have to!). Everything was as promised and the answer to a specific query I had was received next day. Faultless service. Jim
