Great service from Peter. Wish I'd asked about whether I needed a heat sink - it's so noisy! Perhaps folk should be warned / advised when they do / don't need to buy one! Sound like a helicopter !!!

Een laptop op maat geassembleerd en met software naar keuze geïnstalleerd binnen drie dagen leveren (woensdag einde werkdag besteld, vrijdagochtend ontvangen), vind ik erg netjes. Dan hebben ze hun zaken goed op orde. Als ik een tip mag geven, dan zou het zijn om de basis installatie iets rijker uit te voeren, met wat meer tooltjes en utility's. Dingen die automatisch geïnstalleerd worden, wanneer ik zelf een default Linux installatie zou doen. De prijs is wel wat aan de hoge kant.

Ordered a laptop without SSD and memory because I already had them from another machine. The whole experience was without issues, and I would gladly do business with laptopwithlinux again. The only improvement that I can think of is that the procedure for disassembling the notebook could be documented in the website because, besides unscrewing, the bottom of the case needs to be pried open with a plastic "knife" similar to the ones used to open mobile phones). I was waiting for frame.work computers to be available in Portugal but gave up waiting. I find these (clevo) machines to be almost as much upgradeable and repairable as frame.work ones while being cheaper (the one I got, at least).

Beautiful laptop, perfectly configured and shipped rapidly without delay. I couldn't imagine a more perfect transaction.

I had a few pre-purchase questions and Peter Pont was just awesome. He answered all my questions and offered some great advice without any sales pressure. He even took the time to answer another question I had after making my order and waiting for it to arrive. This was hands down the easiest and smoothest experience I have ever had when buying a new computer. Shipping ended up being even faster than I expected and everything was packed really well. I had no worries when opening everything that there was no shipping damage. I love that I could customize my laptop exactly how I needed and got a much better deal than if I had gone into a brick and mortar store, or any other online retailer that I could fine. I will definitely buy from again, although the quality of what I got will probably make it several years before I need to order another one (at least for myself).

My first dealings with 'Laptop With Linux' were in April 2021, when I ordered a Clevo NP50DB laptop without an operating system. I installed my own O.S. During the configuration of the laptop I had a reason to contact Peter Pont of Technical Support. Peter was very helpful and we resolved my problem to my satisfaction. The machine is in daily use and continues to provide good service to this day. On the 30th July 2023 (Sunday afternoon) in response to a new and urgent need I ordered another laptop from LWL, a Clevo NJ70MU with a 17.3" screen. The new computer arrived in UK at 09:15 2nd August (Wednesday), packaging in perfect condition. I installed the O.S, configured the machine, and all was well, apart from the keyboard backlight being uncontrollable. I contacted LWL, who provided me with the backlight driver and installation instructions via email. Now the machine is operating perfectly. With both my purchases from LWL I am 100% satisfied. The products are good quality, reasonably priced, and the personal service is second to none. I unreservedly recommend 'Laptop With Linux' to anybody requiring a laptop that operates on Linux. You can rest assured that any post purchase support will be forthcoming. From the time of placing an order I have been kept fully informed of the progress of my order through to delivery. With both my orders the machines have been expertly packed and arrived in perfect condition.

The laptop from this company was the first Linux computer I ever had, I'm glad I chose Laptop with Linux for my first one, it works perfectly; and with better features than my Windows desktop. Their emphasis on security by the packaging and heavily suggesting I change my password after setup all speaks for itself. I like companies that value the privacy and security of its customers, and this is one of them. I look forward to the next time I purchase a laptop from Laptop with Linux.

Ordered on a Tuesday morning, received on Friday morning of the same week. They dealt with all the UK import stuff, no stress at all. Laptop is awesome, would buy again and/or recommend in a heartbeat.

I have been lurking the laptop industry for a few weeks but it is only after a Finnish friend bought his clevo on Laptopwithlinux that I got to know about the company. It didn't take me long to understand that I'd buy my PC from the same place. All my criteria were met : Highly customizable laptop. I was pleasantly surprise you could add engraving options. I didn't want something too showing-off, but having that little touch of unique is really nice, so I went with the custom super-key. I initially sent a .png of my old Eve Online alliance's logo, thinking it would be high-res enough, but I soon got a mail for a certain Peter asking me if I had a vectorial version of the logo and... I couldn't get anything better than the original Photoshop project I was given. I settled to send him, a bit annoyed that I could not provide what he asked for. And that's when Laptopwithlinux really impressed me. Not only Peter managed to use the Photoshop project to get the vectorial version, but he also took the time to send that version to me, in case I'd need it. And that actually made my day. It is clearly not a daily occurrence to meet someone, or a company, that would go that extra mile to deliver a great product and not settle for "good enough", especially when it comes to online shopping. I received the laptop rather quickly. The order was sent Monday night and I received it Friday (I also have to take my hat off to UPS for not ruining the delivery, which also felt fantastic). I don't have anything special to say about the laptop, for it runs as smoothly as I wanted it to. Special mention for the keyboard that is quite pleasant to use (something that is hard to get a feel for when online shopping). It can feel a little narrow, but that's a fair price to pay in order to have a number pad available. A solid purchase. I've been recommended Laptopwithlinux and I have already recommended you to friends. (And the custom key looks really cool)

Snel geleverd. Deksel mooi gegraveerd. Helpdesk is super en het zijn technisch ook gewoon goede laptops met alle nodige aansluitingen.

Basisboek is schitterend, overzichtelijk en op een duidelijke manier wordt info gegeven hoe Ubuntu 22.04 werkt. Een aanrader en zeer informatief bij het gebruik van OS Ubuntu versie 22.04.

Peter and Bart provided great customer service when resolving an issue with a courier. They updated me regularly and the final product (a laptop) has been performing extremely well, a step-up in power from my previous Linux NUC (which I also bought from LwL). thank you gents.

This is the second system that I have bought from this company. It was built as specified and delivered on time.

Very good support, very quick answers on even complex questions, fast delivery. It's usually a point to know if hardware works optimal within Linux. They solved that question. No complaints about hardware I bought 2 years ago and the new one I bought works perfectly.

This is the second computer I've purchased from LmL and on both occasions the service has been outstanding. I chose the Clevo NS70 PU as a gift to a friend, for delivery to Romania. Hengelo to Bucharest in 72 hours is quite good going! All my pre purchase telephone inquiries were answered promptly and politely by a human being!

Ik kon mijn mini-PC op de website configureren. Bij een onderdeel heb ik via e-mail mijn vraag gesteld en snel reactie ontvangen. Ik kon de bestelproces stap voor stap doorlopen en aan het einde duidelijk informatie over bestelling ontvangen. Deze is snel geleverd en het pakket heb ik in goed staat ontvangen.

Ben een it-er vanaf het eerste begin van de laptop. Bij Texas Instruments kwam ik voor het eerst in aanraking met een laptop, keuze amber of groen scherm. Heb meegewerkt aan het ontwikkelen van een van de eerste multi user operating systems, Hos. Gewerkt met Ms-Dos, Windows, Max osx maar had nu zin in een nieuwe uitdaging Linux. Ik ben een beetje aan het afbouwen en neem alleen nog remote opdrachten aan die me aanstaan. Ik wil onderweg met mijn Camper kunnen werken, maar ook thuis een goede computer hebben. Mijn oog viel op de Clevo L141PU. Ik heb Peter gevraagd of het laden op 12 volt mogelijk was. Hij bestelde voor mij een 12 volt lader en teste deze, bleek goed te werken. Inmiddels heb ik de Laptop ontvangen en ben zeer tevreden, werk makkelijk met Unbuntu, is veel sneller dan mijn Apple Macbook en alle software die ik nodig is voorhanden voor Linux.

As per summary - highly recommended.

Ik had nog wat vragen over linux mint en de hardware en heb vóór de aankoop de helpdesk gebeld. Daar werd ik volledig naar wens geïnformeerd en kon zo mn laptop samenstellen en direct bestellen. Prima levering. Kon direct aan de slag zonder al te veel leerwerk. Veel herkenning in alle programma s die ik onder andere vlag gebruikte. Ik heb daadwerkelijk vooraf gekozen voor vrijheid en die ervaar ik ook meteen. Geen dead-end updates meer van besturingssystemen, geen schimmige softwarefuiken en qua hardware: bijna grenzeloze eigen opslag, veilig op de plek die ik wil en altijd beschikbaar. Ook veel uitbreidingsmogelijkheden die betaalbaar zijn.
