I got the Clevo compact performance and it fit my needs perfectly. It is incredibly fast for the large-scale computational physics simulations that I need to run. I had a very minor issue with a driver for the keyboard light. Support was able to help me fix it almost immediately. This machine is so powerful that I can't imagine I'll be in the market for a laptop any time soon, but when I am, I will absolutely be going back to Laptop with Linux.

All I ordered had arrived in time. My computer was packed very well. Everything works as it should. Computer appeared to be cheaper than on average on market. I'm just happy))

Als besteller en gebruiker van System76 en Tuxedo laptops, kan ik stellen dat de configuratie omgeving van Laptop met Linux hier zeker niet voor onder doet. Het is duidelijk wat de consequenties zijn in prijs van de keuzes die je maakt en ook welke keuzes beschikbaar zijn. In de configuratie wordt aangegeven welke keuze de meest populaire is, vind ik een leuke toevoeging. Waar jullie in uitblinken is de ruime keuze in distributies die aangeboden als vooraf installeerbaar. Kortom, een mooie Nederlandse toevoeging aan het LinuxLaptop aanbod.

The laptop arrived earlier than expected and was setup as-per my specific requests. I had cause to report a problem (no fault of Comexr, just "one of those things") and the customer support was excellent, to the extent that they sent a replacement part, no quibble. Brilliant service from a brilliant company.

The ordering process was very easy with lost of good options and the ability to send a message to a real person with my specific requirements. It's increadibly valuable to have the 3-year warrenty option and to be supported by people who understand Linux. Delivery was fast and the laptop has been great. Overall, just an easy and satisfying expereince.

I've had my laptop for about 2 1/2 weeks. The website and the ordering process are simple and easy to navigate. The options and their cost are clearly described and easy to update. Order fulfillment and delivery (Netherlands to the U.S.) was remarkably fast; about 36 hours. The packaging was excellent so that I was not concerned with "rough handling" by the carrier. The simple setup was primarily to change the password for the root-privileged user that was created for me using a username that I selected. The performance thus far has been excellent. I've contacted support twice. The responses have been swift and professional. The first issue was a simple "where do I find" type of question. The second contact was for a performance issue that I suspect is an OS issue. I downloaded several updates for the OS and, at this point, I am waiting to learn if it is or was an OS issue. Support at LaptopwithLinux responded quickly to the problem and directed me towards the log files that I should provide to them if the problem reoccurs. In conclusion, it's all very good so far.

The company is clearly well-run and efficient and provides a good range of machines. As a retiree I found the prices a little high but recognise the current market pressures. I am enjoying the challenge of an up to date version of Ubuntu and overall am very pleased.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a company that offers Linux laptops in such a hassle-free way. I liked the fact that the devices can be personalized with your own logo. The laptop itself is very well manufactured. The display could deliver slightly better colors.

Since the prospection phase, the team answered all my questions clearly and gave me the support I expected until the moment my unit was delivered. For that specific niche (buying a Linux distro-based computer), it was a first for myself and I’m very pleased with it. I’ll certainly consider them in future projects and recommend them for everyone else.

The order when fine and the hardware seems very nice. The staff is friendly and answer question quickly and knowledgeably. One misconfiguration on first boot was a blocker for some time but a solution was found One thing missing is the choice of the window manager, kde, gnome,xfce on your distribution Cheers

Very efficient delivery of hardware and selected OS. One small issue is that the order never left processing until I got notification that the PC was completed, so I was not really sure if the order was accepted. It was, and I am very happy with the result.

Easy to make choices when ordering. My few questions were promptly answered. Dispatched on schedule. Slight delay in delivery but I was kept informed by carrier. Very pleased with what I ordered, a fairly basic laptop running Ubuntu.

The CPU fans did make continues noise, partly fixed this problem with tuxedo control center

I have worked with Peter Pont starting from the initial guidance discussions about purchasing a good laptop with Linux pre-installed. From the beginning to the most recent interactions about upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04, my queries were handled professionally. All the advice given by Peter when I installed Fedora 36 on the new laptop, due to some errors while upgrading from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04, were practical and succinct.

I've recently bought the Video Editor Workstation and it's really good ! No major issues installing Fedora on it.

Nog weinig over te zeggen. De laptop is net 2 dagen voorzien van fedora-mate v36. In de basis lijkt alles te werken. De komende weken weet ik meer

De ganse aankoop ervaring was heel aangenaam. De website maakt het heel handig om met verschillende configuraties te experimenteren om tot je ideale samenstelling te komen. Het toestel werd vervolgens vlot geleverd en de prestaties zijn beter dan verwacht. Top kwaliteit dus voor een aanvaardbare prijs. Ik kom zeker terug voor de volgende aankoop.

Met mijn laptop waren bij aankomst een aantal kleine problemen. Aangezien ik mijn laptop ook professioneel gebruik zijn die problemen echter niet aanvaardbaard. Bij het contacteren van linuxlaptops.nl reageerden ze onmiddellijk positief met het bericht: "geen zorgen, we gaan dit oplossen". Zonder problemen heb ik mijn laptop kunnen terugsturen.

I'm happy I found Laptop with Linux. I didn't really know anything about them when I found their website, but I took a chance and placed an order. They were amazingly quick, and my new laptop was in my hands less than a week after I ordered it! It travelled over 7000km to get to me in under a week! I had some questions about software which were easily explained and resolved in a short email from support. Overall a great experience. Would recommend!

Laptop arrived a week earlier than I expected (I was accounting for customs since I'm in UK, but it was dealt with easily on their side - I didn't have to do anything) and worked beautifully out of the box; I had one question regarding a setting I was used to being in bios not being there and while Peter wasn't sure of the answer, he did pass the question on to someone else - and notably, actually let me know he did this and a timeframe in which I could expect a reply (which I now have, with helpful advice), which I really appreciate :)

I have bought a high-end computer from Laptop with Linux as I needed something more robust than my old custom-installed Linux laptop, in order to be able to multitask and run heavy programs seamlessly. I was negatively surprised that my brand new, very powerful computer was about as unstable as my old one. The computer seems to overheat and freeze more frequently than it would be expected, given the use I have and its specs. The freezing is relatively frequent when the graphical card is solicited, eg when using video games (even if they are in the theoretical limit of the GPU). Most importantly, the computer frequently slows down and overheats when I am simply using the Internet navigator with some messaging or music application running in the background. I initially assumed it was because the room temperature or aeration was inadequate, but the problem remained whatever adjustment I made. Although the issue was intermittent, I progressively realized I could not focus as much as I needed to on a machine that can freeze or crash at any time. When I contacted the staff about it, I had the displeasure to find that no solution was proposed to my issue. The staff member who answered me claimed the issue was rare, and that I could send the computer back for a checkup - but it would be to my expense unless the issue was determined to be covered by warranty. I wrote back to confirm that, even though the issue was supposedly rare and the machine was covered by warranty, they would not commit to even take a look at it without charging me, but did not obtain an answer. The only non-negotiable expectation I had for this computer was that it should run bureautics without any instability. Although it is usable, the fact it would not deliver on these quite low expectation is in my opinion unacceptable - as is the fact my warranty would not cover even the seller taking a look at the problem. I wish I would have spent my money on a more reliable computer with standard specs.
