Hello! I'm not understand why in laptop for $3000 don't have Capslock indicator ligth on/off. How I know what letter know is swich on? Also, why I can't choose the quantity of USB-ports? In my old Asus laptop for $300 has 3 USB-ports.. so why here only 2 USB-ports?

Overall I am very pleased with the laptop and it's performance for the price. It looks stunning and I have had no issues thus far with it. I run both windows and Ubuntu and both have been pretty seamless to get set up. I will say though that the bios is the most basic and featureless part of the process. I am normally used to tuning the bios for a week or so to get as optimal of performance out of the hardware before solidifying a linux distro/finalizing driver sets, but there really are no options to do so in this case. It's not a problem really just was not expecting it. The laptop though has been a breeze to work with and has been fantastic to use hybrid graphics. I run pretty demanding workloads on a day to day basis and usually only expect about 3 hours of usable battery life out of a 14", but I get about 5 hours after tuning my linux distro which is pretty solid when it is handling renders, modeling, numeric computations, and image editing all simultaneously. Out of the box though I was only getting 2.5 hours on linux. With windows I get about the expected 3.5 hours of battery life. Would recommend to anyone else as long as the prices stay similar considering I got custom logo and engravings. Just be ready to wait a long time if you are shipping to the US, though their team assured me they are working on speeding up that process so things may be different in the future.

I ordered a V56 with all the security features. I am in awe at how user-friendly they were able to make it considering the difficulties in on-boarding users to complex technologies; especially when they involve security. I would recommend this company if you're looking for a secure computing experience.

Novacustom sent me a laptop with a non-functioning webcam. I sent it back for a refund upon discovery of the defect three days after receiving it, which is in line with their policies, which is supposedly a "no questions asked" return if made withing 14 days. I was made to pay $400 to return the defective machine, despite it being broken when I received it. Once they received the laptop, they refused to give me a full refund since the webcam didn't work. tldr; Novacustom sent defective merchandise and refused to refund my money even though I returned the machine well within the return window.

I had a bad experience buying a laptop from Lenovo, where I had to return it (which was a very difficult and long process). So buying from a company which actually cares about normal customers (not companies) was a big relief. I am very happy with the customization choices, the ordering process, the communication and to know that there is also put critical consideration into which suppliers are being used. Love my new laptop and have already recommended Novacustom to everybody in my local community.

Der Laptop macht was er soll. Funktioniert bisher tadellos. Wir haben nun bereits ein zweites Betriebssystem installiert, er läuft noch immer ^^ Kleiner, robuster Laptop den ich gut ins Büro mitnehmen kann.

Šis ir mans pirmais dators, kuram nav draiveru problēmu ar linuxi un pat notestējot ar Windows 11 (visi nepieciešamie draiveri automātiski uzinstalējās līdz ar Windows Update, nebija nepieciešams manuāli kaut ko instalēt). Visas nepieciešamās funkcijas un klaviatūras "shortcuti" vienkārši strādā - palielināt vai samazināt ekrāna spilgtumu, skaņu, izslēgt "touchpad". Kā arī ir divi ļoti noderīgi klaviatūras "shortcuti", kur es varu pilnībā izslēgt ekrāna "backlight" un ieslēgt dzesēšanas fēnus uz maksimumu. Ļoti novērtēju, ka šim portatīvajam nav nekādu problēmu ar miega režīmu, aizveru vāku ciet un šis aiziet miega režīmā. Varu droši izraut un iespraust lādētāju neizraisot kernel crash, kā tas man bija ar iepriekšējo laptopu. Pašreiz gan esmu novērojis problēmu, kur šis dažkārt iestrēgst firmware boot ekrānā un visi mani firmware iestatījumi tiek noslaucīti pēc piespiedu izslēgšanas, bet dasharo-issues github lapā redzu ka šī problēma tiks atrisināta nākošajā lielajā firmware atjauninājumā. Klaviatūra ir tīri ērta, ļoti novērtēju klaviatūras apgaismojumu un ka varu ar klaviatūras "shortcutu" kontrolēt klaviatūras apgaismojumu un arī izslēgt apgaismojumu. Skārienpaliktnis ir pietiekami liels, maniem pirkstiem šim ir pietiekami vieta (izmērs aptuveni "touchpad" ir ~120mm x 85mm). Jauda šim portatīvajam ir (nopirku Intel Core Ultra 155H) un ar dzesēšanu šis tiek labi galā (divi iebūvēti fēni), pārsvarā atstāju šo uz silent fēnu režīmu. Palaižot kādu spēli (Portal 2 uz 43" 4K ekrāna) šis paliek nedaudz skaļāks, bet tā šis turās pie 65-70C. RAM uzlaboju pats uz 96GB, bet ļoti iespējams ka var šo uzlabot līdz 128GB. Man gan ir jāpiemin, ka šim portatīvajam nav nekādu info lampiņu, ka būtu ieslēgts CapsLock un priekš NumLock un dažkārt nejauši sāku rakstīt ar lielajiem burtiem, bet šo var atrisināt ar ārējo klaviatūru, kurai ir šīs te LED lampiņas. Neskatoties uz sīkām problēmam, kuras tiks atrisinātas ar atjauninājumiem, šis ir ļoti labs portatīvais. Iesaku 10/10
