This was the first time I had bought a customized laptop, so I appreciated how easy the NovaCustom website made it! Once I decided what I needed, the step-by-step process of configuring the product online was very clear and simple, even for a technically ungifted person like me, and I loved the component/pricing options that you can jiggle until the configuration matches what you would like with what you can afford. Very fast turnaround time – 2 days from placing the order until receiving email notification that the laptop had been built and was being shipped. And very fast delivery time via UPS, arriving in perfect condition in robust packaging. I'm delighted with the product itself – an NJ70 series laptop that looks sleek and has the perfect (for me) keyboard and technical characteristics. To anyone considering taking this route of purchasing a customized computer, I would wholeheartedly recommend NovaCustom, whom I found to be extremely responsive, communicative, and fast in delivering a super product!

This review is given about 3 month after delivery, after the laptop is fully and duly tested in a really aggressive workload. Super hardly used laptop with absolutely no difficulties in its performance! The first laptop like this which comes to my hands. Nothing else can resist. Perfect design, much better looking than what you see on the website. Elegant, minimalistic and with a strong presence. Absolute well done customer service of NovaCustom! As for my super demanding questions and their advices, so for the delivery. The advice before the purchase was factually very well-founded, questions were answered promptly and in detail. After ordering and paying, we were immediately kept informed of the status of the order. We have ordered a laptop from the PC50 series with its own brand and boot logo, dual boot and changes in graphic card, processor, extended memory, an additional power supply and the USB with primary OS. The laptop was ready to be shipped after only 2 days and could be received within 10 days of ordering. The shipping packaging was excellent, the service with UPS worked perfectly, no import fees or GST payments were required before delivery, everything was already included in the price. The laptop came with a leaflet with important notes, such as: password for Linux, shortcuts for optimal cooling, tips to improve the service life of the battery and many more hints and advice. We also received a booklet with comprehensive instructions for use and a DVD with drivers, utilities and user manual and a small microfiber cloth, presumably for removing fingerprints on the screen and housing. As for the laptop itself, it can be said that it makes a very solid impression, everything works as expected, the logo is neatly engraved, and all in all it meets our requirements and expectations. It is also noteworthy that the installed software only contains software that is required for the basic operation of the laptop or that was ordered during the ordering process, no annoying freeware or bloatware. At this point in time, however, we cannot provide any information on the reliability and suitability for everyday use, as we have only had the laptop for a few days and are now preparing it for the use with us. After initial skepticism, however, we can say that we are completely satisfied with the service. The price on the website may seem high at first, but given all of the above, it's worth every penny. Our tip to the NovaCustom team, keep it up and don't be blinded by success.

This is a great new company. The whole process went smoothly, and I'm really enjoying my new laptop. Being able to customize your laptop PC the same way you would a tower is a great possibility, especially when you don't want or need all the "flashiness" that the high-end consumer laptops come stock with.

It took me 2 weeks to analyze the market for a new laptop, with 2 main concerns as requirements: a device really dedicated to Linux, and the provider being a small company. NovaCustom was selected at the end of the process, and I'm very satisfied by my choice: - handy website for the specific configuration of the laptop; - impressively swift delivery (ordered on Sunday afternoon, received next Tuesday around noon in Belgium!); - the device was packaged with care; - brief but valuable documentation attached; - the material must be tested in the long term, but the laptop gives a solid impression of high quality; - the customer service is really responsive (issue with RJ-45 port, never seen such a system: the team even sent me a video showing the secure way to plug the cable!). Great product. Responsive email support before and after purchase. No M$ Windows burn out. Personally I like the keyboard, but it is not so easy to get used for the new layout after switching from Lenovo.

Good laptop all around: - With a quick benchmark test, the hardware returned positive results. - The laptop case has good quality. - It arrived sooner than expected! - Keyboard backlight didnt change with keyboard shortcuts, but I received on physical paper both the instructions to fix it and the reason why this might happen!! - Customer Support is quick and on point. Only negative was that the Ram is the 2666MHz and not the faster 3200 MHz.

The product is exactly as advertised, all the SLAs were met or exceeded, and the communication after the product was received is of outstanding quality.

I was reluctant about ordering from a company that wasn't one of the big names. But after playing with their configurator, having a chat with one of their team about my configuration, I decided to take a chance and order my laptop from them. Laptop is and works as advertised. Good job. -1 Would be nice if it was ticker (e.g. Ethernet port is fold out, which in my experience breaks after 3 months if you plug and unplug the cable approx 6x per day). +1 Quick feedback from the seller when I asked if >7mm HDD would fit

NovaCustom was the second custom laptop service company I have encountered. The first one, PCSpecialist was quite sloppy and canceled my order two times due to lack of parts. Here, however, everything was quite different. The user service center answered all my emails with questions and I got all the answers. The preparation of the laptop actually took less time than the UPS shipping time! And NovaCustom provides some additional features like more keyboard layouts and even a custom logo on the laptop lid! In conclusion I rate 5 stars out of 5; I would've given 6 had it been possible

Very positive experience overall. Easy-to-use website, and very competitive prices. I especially appreciated the commercial gesture of upgrading my processor for free, to apologize for the "late" shipping (which was still totally reasonable - 12 days from order to delivery). 10/10

All I can say is that the entire process (of choosing the specs for the laptop) was easy and transparent all the way through and the prices are very competitive (in fact, they are lower than what you can expect from major retailors at the time of writing of this review). To top it off, the vendor is very professional and kind; they kept me up-to-date with the status of my order at all times. I cannot recommend them enough. The build quality is amazing and it has been set up just how I wanted it.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of my laptop with NovaCustom. I now use it for a week. I knew what I needed (dual boot Ubuntu + Kali + good cpu/memory for certain Data Science work that I do). The questions that I had about specs were answered well by Wessel. He's clearly very able to answer all kinds of technical questions. Exactly what I needed to make a good decision. Furthermore, after the purchase I have been helped quickly with something that I did not understand. So, overall a very pleasant experience. Thanks.

The Laptop i configured with the help of Wessel´s personal assistance via whatsapp is absolutely amazing. The price is best ever and the computer runs with ease. No addware as in brand laptops!!! Appart i had an issue with some software and OS on my laptop just a view days after purchasing and i got inmediate response and guidance through whatsapp to solve my problems. I will definetly buy again from Nova Custom. Thank you so much!!!
