False advertisement - bait and switch
The actual dimensions of the chair do not correspond at all to the stated ones on their website. When I spoke to customer service to get more precise measurements, I was told that she doesn't have any more information than what is shown on the website. She also said that the chair is made with dimensions to be as close as possible to the original womb chair. This is false and untrue. The actual measurements of the chair itself are off by a considerable amount 30 cms, not just 1 or 2 centimeters, from the ones stated on their website. The fact that a foot stool is included in the price of the chair is telling. In order to provide comfort that is similar to the original or better replicas, they needed to provide the ottoman to make the shallow depth of the chair comfortable.
The chair creaks and cracks when you sit on it. The ottoman is not level and the chair levelers don't help. The metal frame of the chair does not wrap close to the shell. These are the details that separate a good from a bad replica. I paid a large shipping fee and the packaging was tied up pieces of foam that was thrown into the box. I couldn't return the item without having to spend even more money. I would not buy anything from this company again. The information on their website is not reliable.
